Preserve Deer Hunts

Rim Rock Ranch offers the discriminating hunter the legitimate opportunity of a “Buck of a Lifetime”. The genetics of our private herd are the top genetics in the country. Many bucks each year will exceed the magical 200 B&C mark!

Our preserve is home to an incredible number of deer. Its abundant water, large acreage of food plots and large expanses of natural cover make it a true “Whitetail Hunters Heaven”

Hunts take place from October through December. All hunts are conducted 1X1 from elevated tower blinds located in strategic areas on the ranch.

 

Free Range Deer Hunts

Our free range whitetail hunting is conducted on over 10,000 acres of the finest whitetail habitat on the North American Continent. Any trip through the Boone and Crockett, Pope and Young or Safari Club International records books prove this. Many of the huge bucks in these records books have come from right here in Elk County, Kansas. Every year many of our seasoned whitetail hunters are presented opportunities at bucks bigger than they have ever seen. Some connect and some don’t but most book back year after year!

Our free range hunts are comprised of three offerings. A great early season muzzleloader hunt in September, archery hunts in October and November and a rifle hunt in December. The method of take dictates the methods used in hunting. Tree stands, tower blinds and ground blinds are the three most common.

The following prices include accommodations, meals, beverages, guide and field preparation. Local taxidermy services can be arranged. A 50% deposit is required to lock in your hunt date.
